Depends who wants what and when. I had a difficult time selling three a couple years ago and took I think $20 each tops (not F2s).

Out of curiosity, and maybe for future reference, what makes the price of these so high? Is it the collectible aspect, or are people looking for these to throw?

I wasn't a big fan of my Birdie, and eventually gave it away.

^Not many exist. So price is entirely dependent on what someone is willing to pay/sell them for.

Some collect and others throw...like I said in the PmB thread I'm curious how many of those first runs will actually be thrown vs. hoarded for resale in the future.

It looks like the OP bought those Birdies as an investment...I've only bought discs to lose, I mean throw, but there are a few I'd like for my wall so maybe there's a bit of a collector in me.

More than likely anyone who collects also has an "I'd sell this for profit" stash along side the "I'm NEVER getting rid of this" pile. Speculating, but I'm sure some of those that mostly just hustle also have at least a couple they'd never part with.

Then there's the casuals that might collect a couple/sell discs they no longer throw but that's about it. Or, "I want to throw this PmBuzzz, might as well buy two or three in case I love it or the price of them skyrockets."

Then there's the people that randomly reach 200 discs for no apparent reason
