Default New player from Denver

Hey everyone, started playing about 2 months ago and have been going twice a week or more since. This site has been awesome in helping me find courses to play and also get some advice on discs so I thought I'd join. Denver has such a large number of courses, I feel really lucky to live here. If anyone in the Denver area wants to play, I'm down. I've been shooting around par to a few strokes over on the easier courses around here. Still having lots of trouble with longer backhand shots. Hopefully I'll see some of y'all out on the courses.

I run the club in Longmont. Our Summer league starts May 4th if you are interested in meeting some new folks. We are very beginner friendly and have multiple divisions to play in. Lots of prizes and a great group of people to throw with and learn from, welcome to the addiction!!!

Hit up the Longs Peak Disc Golf Club on Facebook for all our goings on.

Man, I would love to but Longmont is about an hour north of here, trying to find something a bit more local. I live two blocks from the Dry Gulch course, if you're ever here and want to play, hit me up!

Hi! I'm just getting started, I currently live in SW FL and haven't even tried it yet; trying to figure out how to try it out before purchasing my own equipment. I'm moving to Parker, CO in May next year and am excited to hear there are decent courses there!

If you have a Play It Again Sports store in your area, just go there to get some used discs. For a $20 investment you will be well on your way to playing without blowing any significant money. I even played for a few years before I bought my first bag. Disc Golf is one of the cheapest activities to get started in.

Also, there's supposed to be a new course going in there in Parker.

Just starting in CO too! Very excited to have gotten some discs for Christmas, and looking forward to getting out.
