Unless they are playing a shorter tee today, hole 2 is 338 yards not 288.

Yes, a 288 yard hole on a golf course would likely be a par 4 in disc golf. You're catching on!

It wasn't disc golf? But this is a disc golf thread! I was just thinking that it was a hell of a throw---surely it'll be on SportsCenter! Oh, well.....

Funny how the mind works. I read PM's post, assumed disc golf and also assumed the guys shot only went 6 feet. Figured he hit a tree. I also skipped the yards, as you could see, and thought it was 288 feet.

So, who is this Justin guy and how long has he been playing disc golf?

I am surprised this thread has this much steam about a topic that really makes no difference. They count the total number of strokes per round right? Par is just a baseline.

That's just like my opinion man.

I've never understood going to a thread that means nothing to you and posting that it means nothing to you? Since it means nothing, we're setting par on every hole at 2. It will be a great baseline. That explosion you just heard was PMantle's head.

Let's make it a 7. I'll be a superstar, posting incredible under-par numbers. It won't eliminate my double-bogeys, but it'll sure cut down on them.

If that is your opinion, then I'm all for par 2 or 7, David's notion is great too. Let us know what your opinion is so we can either take par seriously, or have some fun with it, if it isn't important.

Okay David. You were right about the sun revolving thing.
