Sweet...

I really thought ole double g was doing an injustice to himself with prodigy.

I think prodigy makes great golf discs. But they really don't have any super huge bomber discs like the boss, king, nuke, cannon. These discs go terrible far, are super fast and aren't really that accurate. Discs pro's usually only use for distance comps and or really wide open holes.

Anyhow I really would like to see what Garret uses for his next distance comp.

Can't believe that he is still in his mid 20s. With that said he still has the elasticity to be in his prime to at minimum set a personal distance record with Lat 64.

Lat 64 really needs to start pushing the boundairies with their air plastic..and try to develop a plastic like the early runs of blizzard.

I see something like the king in a good run of air/blizzard plastic being something that might be able to compete with the boss. And in the right player's hands pushing the long distance mark.

How many of the first Prodigy' signees have now signed with someone else?

Sarah Hokom
Ricky Wysocki
Cameron Colglazier
Garret Gurthie

I wonder if any of them regret leaving their first sponsor.

I'd still bet their first sponsors would take them back, if only to rub it in.

Maybe I've missed the drama train, but why is everyone leaving Prodigy?

Grass is greener on the other side I suppose?

Their first prodigy contracts had salaries. Not a lot, but the Steady paycheck was a big draw. The second contracts did not

They are still doing alright. They have the top two women in Pierce/Allen. Plus Schusterick, Koling, Ulibarri, and Leiviska.

Latitude 64, who are 0-3 in PDGA majors this year, confirmed that Dougle G arrived at their team facility on Wednesday morning. If he qualifies, the USDGC will be his first appearance in a PDGA event since the 2014 season and ended a holdout that lasted nearly eight months.

Gurthie, who had been holding out in hopes of getting his contract restructured with Prodigy, told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that he lost patience and jumped ship to Latitude 64.

"Ima go help my new teammates that are understanding of my position and forgive my old teammates that weren’t" Gurthie said in a text message to Smith. "God forgives all, why can't i? Time to get back to the big dance. Me and Colglazier started a mission 2 years ago. I can't let my Dawg down....Real talk."

Gurthie signed a two-year, contract with Prodigy after the 2012 season. Prodigy refused to budge on restructuring his contract, asserting that it would lead to a stream of players seeking new deals nearing the end of their contracts.

One of the nation's longest throwers and a leader of the "Legion of Boom”, Gurthie is scheduled to make $510 in base salary in 2016 and $680 in 2017.
