Default Permanent GLOW Course

Investigating installation of permanent glow target lights at Nine hole Campground course.

Innova Targets.
Prefer not needing to turn on/off manually.
Wooded course.
Vandalism only minor concern.
Waterproof.

Any ideas?

I think you would have to build a waterproof lighted basket, because I don't think people make those.

RR uses small solar powered lights. I assume they are waterproof since they leave them on the baskets. Don't know where to get em, but if people stealing them is not a huge concern, that seems your best bet.

Some sort of solar lighting would be your best, however being in a wooded course it could make it hard for them to get fully charged. Have a friend who has a small, private course in his backyard and uses solar lights. The baskets in the open do pretty good and will light up into the wee hours of the morning. But the baskets in the wooded areas rarely make it past 10/11 pm as they just dont get enough sunlight during the day.

Interested to see if anybody has a good solution to this.

This is what I use. Works very well - I use them in heavily wooded areas and most of them are lit up for most of the night for 2 years straight, they're still going strong. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017LYD93C

There is an apartment complex 9 basket/18 tees course near the campus of Grand Valley State University that has solar lights attached to the baskets. It's a cool idea that I wish more courses would do.

We use 16' solar rope lights on the 18 baskets on our mini course. They can be had for $10 each at Harbor Freight on sale and last a long time. When the lights are wrapped around the pole and basket it makes a well lit target.

This is what my friend did on his private course and they work great.
