Last year they had a truck following the lead card around, I assumed to help with the coverage. No idea what technology was being used or if it helped. It was kind of a funny sight, driving all over the fairways behind the players.

That'd make dropping $40 worth it.
The premium disc from last year's Deluxe Spectator pkg was a gold shimmer Roc.
Sweet looking disc that i stashed away.
Not sure what this year's premium giveaway will be, but last year's dics did not have a date on the stamp.
Just sayin'

Last year was kinda a janky system for them, but it worked. This year they have TVU units (very similar to our LiveU cellular units). So they don't need the van driving around. And yes, without the 100s of people, the cell reception will be much better.

Nope. I'll wait until it's free. Plus I'll be playing as much as possible before winter arrives.

Interesting strategy to get more views. People are so so about free coverage, so the natural solution is to charge $20-40. Ok...

Well I was looking forward to USDGC, now I’m just resentful. This money grab reads like “how to alienate long-time fans 101.”

Yea... its like they saw that some people were willing to pay for dgpt events and wanted to find out how far they could go.

I might have done it if it were $5 and maybe even $10 but I'd rather pay $8.99 and get the last two DGPT events of the year and get ESPN+ for two months instead.
