Default The ONE disc everyone should have ...

This may turn into a Roc/Buzzz war and may have been discussed, but what ONE disc should everyone have (and master) in their bag? (forums ARE for discussions right?)

This isn't a ONE DISC CHALLENGE!

I throw Valks, Leopards, Rocs, and Classic Aviars, but I would like to also try a Beast, Orc, Viking, Teebird, Skeeter, Buzzz, Coyote, KC Pro Aviar P&A and Magnet.

The only disc I know I will ALWAYS have in my bag is the LEOPARD. So my answer to this thread is:

Leopard

Why is the Leopard your pick? I have a Star Leopard in almost perfect condition and I yet to throw it (a lot). I'm not really sure of the difference between Fairway Drivers/Drivers/Mid Range.

The one disc I would choose to always have in your bag is a Destroyer. Star, preferably. I always trust it no matter the hole. I love my Yellow 175 Destroyer, and I extremely love my Hot Pink gold stamped 175 Destroyer (Mint condition, hardly thrown ) I had another one but I gave it to my friend after losing his Sidewinder. Definitely one of my favorites!

Good call, though I like the big bead of the aviar driver a little better for approaches and drives, and it's still a decent putter. That's my go to disc for most shots under 250', so that would be my one must-have disc.

Again, this is personal and subjective, but it has been with me since I started DG and it is the most consistent and straight disc for me. I can throw it consistently from 230-340 (upper end of range is referenced from a downhill local hole that plays short). I often drive with it off the tee.

I guess I am looking for those consistent, go-to discs (again, I know this will be personal, somewhat subjective and probably something in Champion plastic and better premium plastics).

Yeah I feel ya. I think I tend to not use it off the tee because I throw sidearm and the brim of the disc just doesn't feel right with it. I usually used it as a mid range but I guess I was mis-using it :P Next game I play I'll try it out off the tee.
