Discgolfcenter.com apparently hasn't gotten the McBeth Star Destroyers back in stock again yet following the Destroyer market crash(explosion?) of 11/31/18, but their stated price for this commodity has gone from $13.99 to $15.99. We may be seeing the beginning of an inflationary trend.

I think the real price jump will occur when Mcbeth announces who he is going to go with.

No to the Champ, but every time I’m getting paid lately I go buy 2-4 more Stars from the local stores.

I want a few for myself, but may hold on to some to sell when people are paying too much in 2-3 years.

Exactly. Are there any old star Destroyers out there that have actually LOST value? I don't think so. I think you're investing soundly by sitting on star Destroyers for a while and letting them appreciate.

Now that everyone knows that Paul McBeth will not be sponsored by Innova next year, here is a question:

Do you think that Innova will continue selling any Paul McBeth signature products after December 31st, even to get rid of existing stock?

I mean, if Innova is the industry leader, and Paul is the top named player in the sport, and has moved on to a competitor, it is kind of a bad look to keep moving products next year that have his name on it. It would probably end up being good publicity for Discraft, and might even look like Innova is riding Paul's coat tails a bit to sell more Destroyers and such.

Do you think that Dave and Harold want to have to continue shipping out Paul McBeth signature stuff? For all I know, they have got warehouses full of these discs, and don't want to lose money on them. But, I expect they want to move on as soon as possible. They will want to make a statement that they are the best at selling discs, that losing Paul is going to have no affect on their products, and that they have got a new edition of the Star Destroyer that will continue to outsell all other discs.

So, that's my question. Do you think retailers will still be able to order any remaining Paul McBeth signature Innova products into next year, or are they all off the Innova order form in less than six weeks?

I think you’ll still be seeing 4x Destroyers for almost a year after. There’re just so many out there at big box stores like Academy. I know the two nearest to me have plenty left.

But I doubt they’ve stamped any more since they announced he’d be leaving.

Picked up a couple of Destroyers, along with a bunch of other gems.
The Star Aqua Destroyer absolutely CRUSHES. Also stoked to season this Pro Destroyer. It has so much glide!
