OK worked on the wide stance to narrow stance and fixing my OLD yesterday. Feeling better about both now.

One break through this week as spine posture. Reviewing my previous posts and notice how my spine would almost bend backwards when I rotated. Focused on keeping my spine more neutral throughout the throw and it helped tremendously and helps keep the nose over toes alignment more consistently as well.

Video of the drills from yesterday:

SS - needs more figure 8 in backswing rear knee/hip moving --->.
-----Your front knee also remains too bent over toes going forward. Push your lead knee back toward ankle/heel--->

Reverse Stride - you are starting too static, need to rock back and forth and pump the swing forward and back.

OK went OLD last session. Kept working on spine alignment throughout the swing and bringing that front knee back towards the ankle. Will video wide stance drill again later this week.

OLD - you never get stacked up on front foot at address or the hit. Your stance is too wide and flat footed and sway too far back away.

If you watch me do OLD, I address totally on front leg, rear foot on very tippy toes, then shift rear heel down into backswing and keep a tight figure 8 motion and back to the address position for the hit.

Swivel Stairs should help the feeling balanced on front leg/hip - head over foot. It might feel weird, over the top.

OK to understand this better.

What point in the throw is the address and what point is the hit?

Slightly confused on the purpose of OLD vs just working on throwing from a standstill. What exactly does it teach me that working from a standstill or one step doesn't?

Teaches you movement on one leg. Two legs is easy to get stuck between them.
