I also have a factory 2nd glow champ valk and its BEEFY, but in all the right ways. Still has that smooth glide and smidge of turn in the middle, but it definitely required higher speed (like an 11 speed or so) throw to wake it up and make it do Valk things.
That's a good one/two punch right there...man I bet the JO Valk is fun to toss around!

I bought a low weight pro valk to get something flippy out of the box, not so much. The pro valk is equal to my star one in stability. I have had a max weight pro valk in the past and it was flippy right away. The difference between the two is that my old pro was soft while my new one ( 10g lighter ) were stiff. Maybe Dx next time.

Pro won't take long to show turn though...give it a few weeks and it will turn beautifully.

The good new is that that Pro Valk will season in more quickly than a Star disc will. So take it to the range and throw the Hades out of it...

Randomly threw a Valk in my bag Saturday, hit metal my first throw with it (FH tightly wooded double mando 300'ish dogleg right). Had a few other great BH throws with it too, gonna give them some love again!

Funny how Innova drivers have creeped their way bag into my bag over time...
