Get a real job. There was no pro or national tour in the 90s even able to support the #1 player.
Almost 25% of his winnings that year came from Japan.
10 Rounds at Worlds paid just over 2K.
He beat Barry Shultz by 14 strokes at his hometown in one of the 3 C tiers.
The other 2 C tiers were in his hometown.

Can you link to a reference for this? Would love to read/watch more about his mindset on this because in the past I could have sworn he was bagging several variations of seasoned discs. Thx.

And Champ should have something more stupid overstable than an Eagle to throw into headwinds.

Seriously, dude? (Or how do they say that on the Simpsons?)

How does 19k in 1995 compare with 60k in 2019?

The third biggest check Kenny got that year was at the "Branywindjammer" in Greenville Delaware . . . . , I wonder what course it was? Greenville? Is that close to Rockland?

Also surprised this wasn't mentioned yet (if it was -- forgive me, spent the weekend in WVA and had no internet . . . happily) https://www.pdga.com/player/7438/stats/2000 I bet if she'da finished 5 throws better at the USDGC it wouldn't have been forgotten . . . just saying. Also note that Avery Jenkins and Dave Feldberg each finished worse than she did at USDGC that year.

I think it's fair to say that comparing 1995 and 2019 is apples to oranges, since the Open player landscape and the PDGA tournament landscape have changed so much. It makes all the Michael Jordan to Lebron James comparisons look so much more reasonable.

As far Kenny goes, does anyone know how much non-DG work he did that year? He was a carpenter, right?

19k in 1995 = 32k in 2019

Brandywine DE, near Iron Hill.

In 2001 Juliana cashed at USDGC and tied Doss. She also won every FPO event except one 2nd place finish to Elaine King. That is arguably the best year ever for anyone.
