I prefer DX over KC but I also use older dx rocs that are stiffer so they are close to KC but still break in quicker. When I pick up new DX rocs now, I just go through a whole stack from where ever and feel every single one and find the ones I like the feel of and buy those. I don't carry any roc3's, they do do anything for me that a normal roc can do, and the dx blend they used in the usdgc ones are gummy crap. I currently have 6 rocs in the bag. 3 rancho, 2 san marino and one ontario. Champ rancho for the overstable stuff, special blend rancho for the slightly overstable stuff, ce rancho for the straight stuff, dx san marino for the straight to slightly under stable stuff, dx ontario for the under stable stuff, and a beat to piss dx san marino for the stupidly under stable stuff.

I throw dx and kc. Both fit nicely together and you can get the most glide out of those plastics. If you want an OS roc go for a heavy star rancho or glo roc3.

those glo roc3's can be hit or miss. Ive thrown some that are almost rancho overstable but also threw others that were straight like a roc3 should be.

It still gave me free ups ground, so I dunno. I think it was because the original amount before the 20% discount was over 75. I haven't ordered yet, but I will be cashing in on the free shipping. I might grab some extra teebirds and leopards also.

I wish the innova factory store had dx rocs, I would order a ton of them. Anybody know where else to get them? How often those guys restock their inventory?

I will share what little I know.

DX Rocs vs KC Pro Rocs --- only real difference is how long it takes to get it to that sweet spot (dx breaks in faster) and how long it stays in that sweet spot (kc pro will last longer)
DX = cheaper cost, quicker to break in, quicker to wear out.
KC Pro = more expensive (but not much), longer break in time, longer lasting

Now with that said. You can get Flat Top DX Rocs and also Flat Top KC Pro Rocs. To me, the flat tops are more stable (straight) than the domey ones.

If you are wanting to get a Roc beat in quickly get you a DX. Get you a KC Pro and alternate using them. Once the DX get beat in, get a fresh KC Pro. By the time the DX get worn out, the 1st KC pro should be just about beat in and the second with good wear on it. Then you can get a new KC Pro and get rid of the DX. Then you are set for a while.
