Default Discraft stalker.

Okay, I don't throw discraft discs. Not saying they're bad, just don't have any.

I joined the PDGA and they sent me an ESP Discraft Stalker.

I hear that it's like a faster Buzz and that's about all I know about it.

Any Stalker tossers out there mind giving me some insight on what this disc is all about? Any Innova disc you might compare it to or that has the same flight pattern and speed so to speak?

To me, it's essentially the same as a TL. I find it a tad bit less stable than a TL, which is odd as I guessed the bead would add some stability. It didn't make the cut for me over a TL

DGC has it rated a lot faster than a TL though. And from my ESP Stalker, it seems more overstable than my champ Teebird. Dont know if its the plastic or the speed.

I mean less HSS than a TL. The stalker I tried was 170 Z, and I'm comparing it to a star TL. I have to say the Stalker is pretty fun in a tail wind. I just find it flippier out of the hand.

Lucky you, the stalker is a great disc, much more usable than the stratus I got with my membership. It's pretty straight at the upper end of a fairway driver. If you want to see one thrown right watch the Finnish DG videos on YouTube and watch Nate Doss throw his at the european open.

If you don't like it I'll take it off your hands. That black ESP is a great looking disc. I could use a backup for mine.

While I only have it in the Z, it is a disc that I love.

I use it as a straight long fairway/short distance driver. It is the straightest driver that I have, and it has minimal fade.

It doesn't flip at all on me, I only use it on open shots, and it hasn't really been banged up.

I'm not sure if the ESP flies any different, but I imagine I'll get one when I register for PDGA

DGC is wrong, very very wrong. The more I throw mine,(one z, one glow z) the more they feel like a slightly slower TL and maybe just a notch less stable than a brand new Star TL. I feel like they are going to break in kind of Leopardish but the bead should keep it from getting squirrely. I think they are much more workable in terms of line shaping than a Buzzz though.
