I took the Crave out.

I go Clash/Inspire for fairways
Photon/Insanity as my distance drivers
Volt is my workhorse (I carry 4 but 1 is purely a backup)

Volt has the control of the Clash/Inspire and the distance of Insanity. Fission Photos are in a league of their own.

I'm surprised.
I'm specifically talking about into a headwind. They are different discs, but I find very little difference when faced with a stiff headwind. It could be that my Volt is older and more beat than my Crave I use for headwinds, but outside of the wind, the Volt feels more stable. I just think it overlaps with the Wrath too much. I could go Crave/Volt instead of Crave/Wrath, but the Wrath is better in the wind.

For me....

Crave feels a heck of a lot better in the hand than the Volt as well.
I get crazy clean rips off the Crave while the Volt and I have never clicked on the same level (despite having one of my three aces with a Volt...)

I still haven't added a second Volt. My current one is very worn and is not a safe bet into wind. Still love it, but it's now like a stable Amp. No sure if to just get another neurton or maybe try plasma.

The Plasma is going to fly like a seasoned Volt out of the box. I'd avoid that if you are looking to create a Volt cycle.

Yeah definitely. Plasma can replace that beat volt if ever lost or if you want a lighter tailwind max D kind of volt the 160s bomb off the shelf with the slight dome. 150 fissions are a blast to throw as well.

You want a Proton. Nice, flat, and overstable.
