As far as the great, understable, putter for turnovers and tailwinds I season DX Aviar P&As for that slot. You can start with a stable putter and have a full range of understable options with a little bit if time put in on one. I love them for many throws, including long, downhill shots. It just a lot of fun to watch them glide. (And they're cheap. LOL!)

Classic Aviar: my usual putter
Classic Aviar: seasoned a bit, easy straight flyer
Classic Aviar: beat, understable
D-line P2 and/or Firefly: more stable than the Aviars above; straight shots with a little finish
DX AviarX3: straight BH and FH shots with more finish, little flex shots
Champ AviarX3: same as DX but more stability, less glide, will take some more power

What I normally carry:

Star Mirage
XT Bullfrog
R-Pro Rhyno

Those three cover just about all my shorter shots.

Gosh, there are so many putters out there.

Here is what I bag: Marshal (putting putter), Polecat, Mirage, Tomb, Zone.

Also molds I sometimes use: Stud, Colt, Deputy.

Other good molds: Reko, McBeth Putter, Pa3, Classic Aviar, Firefly, Wizard.
