I think the regular Ballista is a lot of less touchy than the Destiny. I think they just came out with the Ballista in Opto X plastic, that might be worth checking out. The recycled GL Ballista Pros are what you're looking for but they beat into as understable as regular Ballistas.

I agree. I've thrown about 10 Ballistas and 4 Destinies. The Ballista is flippy, but usually has enough late fade to avoid a completely horrible shot. With the Destiny, if it flips it'll usually stay flipped. Both are capable of huge distance on hyzerflip shots, but the Ballista will do it more consistently without flipping into oblivion.

Ballista: 14, 5, -2, 2
Destiny: 13, 5, -4, 2

The high speed turn on these will vary somewhat on each individual disc, but I've found the Destiny to be universally flippier than the Ballista.

As for Nate Sexton throwing Shrykes, its a bit interesting. In star or champion the Shryke can actually be stable enough for pro level throws. They absolutely bomb on open holes. I wouldn't be surprised if more pros start finding a spot in their bag for Shrykes. IMO Innova doesn't make anything longer at this point.

I have seen a Force from an older cousin work for this shot though you want a Force in ESP, the Z will be a bit more OS for people when new compared to the ESP. The Closets disc I have seen in flight to the old Tee Rex is this or the Xcalibur though the Xcalibur is missing glide compared to the Tee Rex.

Disregard this post, I though this was for the Defender disc.

For the Balista Pro try a Different plastic for the mold that the mold is better. I do not know Dynamic Disc Plastic so I am of no use.

The Krait is a great disc for this shot as it is more like a faster Viking, want more turn Get an Archon which is a mold Juliana K uses for the same exact shot as a Valkyrie but faster. The Wahoo is odd for a 12 speed due to the dome, glide, and only a specific plastic of the Turn flies like a Valkyrie.

Those all look like great choices for your power level. If you get all those drivers, throw them side by side and let us know what you think.
