what plastic is your same one that is still beefy?

The SP lines are real beefy. I had a proline that was nicely beat in and it flew amazing. Somewhere in between a firebird and teebird. It would hold its line for a long time and then it would still have a nice solid fade on the end. Good glide once it was beat in too.

I would recommend this. I'm a big firebird thrower, and the Shock is just a little less HSS, so it will glide for awhile before the fade starts to kick in if thrown flat/anny. The resistor is just as stable as a firebird, but maybe a little slower. I can throw it on just about any firebird line and it behaves pretty similarly. So, maybe try one of each, and figure out which one fits your needs.

I imagine it is similar if you've got a noodle arm.

Isn't everything if you can't get it up to speed? Up and to the left, up....and to the left.

I guess I should clarify. Past 330, the saint pro is no where near a firebird. I can't imagine that they are under that distance either, but for what it's worth, I know when thrown farther than that a saint pro is no where near a firebird.

I have some opto xXx's that fly almost like my 1st run CE FX's, they have a little bit more turn and a little bit more fade, but its functionally the same. The saint pro isn't anywhere near that.

this is just another example that proves my point the inbounds is not a reliable chart whatsoever.

Here's what the manufacturers say (which isn't too far off from inbounds):

Firebird - 9/3/0/4
Saint Pro - 8/6/0/4

So the consensus is that manufacturers (and flight ratings companies) have this wrong?

^^^no i just think Lat64 is terrible at giving accurate numbers. almost all of their discs fly more US than they are rated. which is strange to me cause for the most part DD discs have been almost spot on.

but that is the problem with inbounds....they dont actually throw the discs, its a glorified flightanalyzer.com. at least with Joe's chart they go out and throw the things and give their own opinion.
