But the mouthfeel is subpar

...but really Hydroflasks are kind of heavy. The best is leaving it in the hot car so when you get back after a round you have icy goodness waiting for you after you've already finished your round's worth of water.

Are things like kombucha, hand sanitizer or mouthwash allowed during PDGA rounds? These all have various amounts of alcohol and by letter of the rule, are strictly forbidden.

I'll keep mentioning it to pound my point in one more time. The PDGA rules often hurt the sport more than help it.

So what your caddie is enjoying a brew. Shouldn't be an automatic dq. For Christ sake and it just isn't coincidence that the same tourney honors the two meter rule. Both outdated and foolish.

In a slightly different venue: I remember when John Daly would be out on the course during a major tournament with his can of beer and lit ciggy in his mouth. Wonder what the penalty would be for that now a days? Auto DQ and a night in the hoosegow?

Of all the reasons to argue against how the TD handled this situation you picked the absolute worst one.

There are also advantages to cans too. Allot of craft beer have gone that way. They're both good, in my humble opinion..
