Default DGA mach lite

have any of you added an extra set of chains to this basket?

If so, does the basket still fold up as intended?

Part of the appeal of the Mach Lite (for me, anyways) is the reduced number of chains. This cuts down on weight, adding to portability, and also make it harder for bad putts to go in. If I make putts consistently on the Mach Lite, I know that when I go out on the course the Mach 3's will be easy.

this for sure. practice basket is for practice. plus it's easy to tell when a good a putt sneaks out of a mach lite and when a bad one sneaks over or gets grabbed by the bottom part.

I put a couple small towels inside the chains around the pole. Originally this was to cut down on sound so I don't P*ssoff my apartment neighbors. The added weight on the chains makes it grab discs more like a real basket! try it out!

I'm thinking about getting four chains to hang straight down, arranged in a little square around the center of the basket.

Hopefully that will be a good balance between catching and weight.

Did it still fold up neatly?

I'm thinking about buying a mach lite and am very interested in making it a better catching basket while keeping the portability.
