How's your 171? Mine is max weight and I have to turn it over just a touch out of the hand to get some D on it. I'm thinking of grabbing a lighter one to try tomorrow because I'd like to use this disc more if I can find one that's a bit straighter.

I got a 172 and 175 on Monday and have played 4 rounds so far with a few throws here and there with them. Im liking them alot so far havent had a bad shot with them yet, seems to be a touch faster then a destroyer and more stable then the Pro Destroyers I normally throw. Doesnt seem to be much difference in the stability of the two, planning on trying to beat some of the stability outta the lighter one.

These are so fun to throw in a left -> right crosswind on a big anhyzer flex shot. Easiest >400' ever.

I might do a little video demo of the DD and Quasar tomorrow if its dry.

I'll do a quick summary though.

Mine is a 171 white. I rubbed the bottom on a wooden tee sign for a few minutes to get the flashing off, then tossed it some. Right away it felt really long and fast, but manageable for me (I've never had much luck throwing discs over speed 10). Thrown flat it would S curve, thrown hyzer it would flip flat then cruise straight a head. I was expecting a big meathook so having a speed 13 disc that felt workable as a line shaper when new was a treat. Flies a lot like my OLF's, just way faster and longer. My first 5 throws in a field were something like 430, 450, 430, 450, 470, 450. I let some friends try it and it was bombing for them too.

I honestly felt it was easier to work than my 175 worn star destroyers. I was really surprised by it, I went into it expecting a longer Force, but Forces don't really show high speed turn for me unless I oat it or toss in a headwind. The Quasar I threw on all sorts of lines today, like tall stall hyzers, a 15' high turnover, long S curve bombs and a few forehand shots.
