Here's a Magic, then a Voodoo...then a Kong, because this is a Kong thread:

Yeah, but what about a Shaman?

They're like magic/voodoo right?

And Zeus was basically magical.

Shaman is a low profile Magic. Chief is a low profile Wizard. They didn't make a low profile disc with the Voodoo wing.

Might check out the Zeus again when the production runs come out. The domey one I have is more similar to a force than what I had been expecting. Hopefully they figured out what flight and shape they intend to move forward with. I doubt it will oust Hurricanes from my bag, but I'm not against giving one a shot.

It was my attempt at bad humor.

I mean I don't have a Kong and have no plans on trying a Zeus, so it's the only thing keeping me in this thread.

You just need a flatter one

Confirming the flat ones are very easy to throw. I get a full flight out of mine on max throws of roughly 425' and really start getting turn even at 350' to a little further.

I'm waiting for so many production runs of discs I swear. Like cmon, just mold em up and we will buy them! I'm just not interested in bagging boutique discs.

This. My Kong/Zeus flies EXACTLY like a Force. Feels like one in the hand too.

I want one of the flippier ones. Mine is really beefy.

Picked up a pair of first runs to test along side my protos (I have flat, domey, and pop top protos)

In one of the JDG interviews Paul said they were leaning toward trying to mold them up flatter so that they would come out noticeably less stable than the Force. I sifted through boxes and boxes of first run Zeus, none of them were really "board flat" like some of my protos. That said, almost all of them had a little shoulder and then a flat top, so not board flat, but not domey. I also didn't see any "pop top" domes like some of the protos.

Generally speaking, they seem to have found a fairly consistent run in terms of dome. Amount of shoulder varies a bit, but nothing pop top, nothing board flat. (from what I saw)

They flew about as anticipated, a bit more stable than the board flat ones but had better glide. I like 'em.
