Default For those who aren't JADEed

So a couple months ago I bought the wife a new gem. A plastic gem that is. You know, a compliment to her beloved Diamond. That gem of course was a 156g Opto JADE. A couple of throws and she wasn't interested. So I threw it a couple times. Meh. I hate to give up on new plastic so next time out a little better. Hmmm... Kind of Leopard-like. By the next time out I was getting better D than my 150g Star Leopard if not quite the control.

Now a couple months in and this sweet little fairway has found a spot in the bag. Not pushing the Leopard out but sharing time. Then yesterday I was working on my FH. Chronic injuries (or simply old age) are forcing me to modify some things. My Nolan Ryan 1 finger flick doesn't have the stamina of just a season ago. So after a decent sweeping left to right 1 finger FH with my Orc. I decided to give the Jade a try. But this time with 2 fingers and taking a little off the forward movement but maintaining a smooth snap. WOW! Not only did it carry the line I out threw the basket by 50 feet!

Long distance
Forgiving
Controllable

AWESOME!

I haven't thrown the Jade but the Diamond is actually a pretty good FH disc when thrown in a similar fashion.

Jade is a great little disc for shot shaping. I really enjoy mine.

I recently picked one up, but haven't put in to much time with it yet. I love Opto plastic!

The Jade is my go-to driver, unless there is a lot of wind. Straight as an arrow for me with minimal effort.

Same here! OPTO for straight with a tiny fade and GL for turnover to straight with no fade...

Even in the wind, my Opto is pretty predictable. A little hyzer and it's dead straight, flat and get a nice turnover with some fade. By far my most-used driver.

I have a GL that's in the shop for a dye job, will be interested to see how that does...
