that's just a byproduct of having more power and throwing longer lines while retaining a true flight. If mike were to throw those discs full power and low they likely would be roller shots at his power level.

Don't worry at all about throwing higher if your discs are fading out at 250-300' It will only exaggerate the fade more by throwing the disc higher-- this likely would cause nose up issues too b/c hes throwing a high shot with the nose down on more of a distance line than what you currently are doing with a flat shot.

So the force of his throw is forcing the nose up, is what you're saying, as opposed to him specifically throwing it that way? Gotcha.

It's been very weird building an idea of what's normal...everybody drives differently, and gives completely different tips on grips, stances, throws, etc. It can be very aggravating.

It doesn't help that there's only 2 other people I know of in AR who mostly throw MVP and have any familiarity with the line.

Sorry didn't mean to be confusing. He is not throwing nose up and that's never really a good thing unless you are attempting to stall a disc out or UFO it to a basket etc.. Those longer line drives are aimed high but with the nose down.

And you are spot on regarding "normal" as there really is no normal way to do anything but the mechanics are all pretty much the same and that's all which really matters.

For example in this video I am throwing a very understable putter at 325'. If I was to throw this same shot lower the disc would never have a chance to ride out and fly straight then turn over and glide to the right--- had I thrown it very nose up it would have went maybe half as far and cut left at the end. Now taking the same disc and adding hyzer to it as well as adjusting the power will get very different flights and just something I would focus on is getting some workable discs to fly all different lines.

Figured out the trick to the servo tonight, slowed it down and gave it a bit of an anhyzer, and got a smooth 200 out of it. So that's something to get down pat.

Also threw an Intertia and was blown away. So that's something else to pick up.

While Mike is a great example of how disc should fly at full power it won't help you to hold up as a standard in stone. Don't worry if it doesn't fly like "Mike". Put your attention toward what makes your discs fly how you want for you. Everyone has different standards and it's all about being comfortable with what you throw.

LOL, exactly. What I had to do was, compare the first disc I threw to how it flew for Mike, and extrapolate from there for other discs.

For most shots, my Switch flies like Mike's does when he throws it lefty, lol.

Not a fan of the Switch. I really have been enjoying the limited use off my Axiom Inspire. That disc is much better IMO.

How is everyone else liking this disc? Tips and suggestions?
