Wanted to follow up with yall firstly by saying how much I appreciate the replies, definitely didn't expect so much help.

Went out disc golfing a couple times this week and personally found improvement by taking more of Oakley's approach and using a slightly flatter hand grip, just enough that the disc is riding less on the bone and more on the edge of the palm of my hand. Secondly, I was using a tight power-like grip on all of my throws and I found some success changing up the grip and pressure when not driving (or atleast attempting to drive).
