I'd say Orcs tend to be on the flat side regardless of plastic. All the greatest Orcs I've thrown have had at least some dome, though.

Domey Orcs aren't that uncommon.

The mold itself is somewhat underrated. IMO, the Orc is a control/distance driver made for good players who throw fairly hard. Orcs will turn, but not super easily. They do pretty well in varying wind conditions and can definitely be used a workhorse distance driver. Not quite the longest mold out there, but very reliable.

I am definitely jiving with this G* Orc that I'm borrowing. Really wish I knew the weight of it and how beat in it is though. I am seeing some turn if thrown flat. Strongly considering putting in an order for a couple more G* and a Champ as a bookend.

I haven't ever thrown a G* Orc, but I'd imagine they're a little flippier than champion or star.

That's been my experience with Shrykes and Wraiths, so i agree seems like a reasonable expection for G* Orcs to be less overstable.

Pearly PFN Orcs still have value? I have quite a few. Haven't thrown an Orc in years.

Honestly, not really. I see pearly PFN Orcs on FB auctions occasionally, and they don't draw a ton of interest regardless of how nice they are.

Too bad. Absolutely wonderful discs. Old, pearly Orcs are a thing of beauty. The plastic lasts forever without losing stability as well.

You won't get rich trying to sell old Orcs.

Champ orcs were the odd ducks for me. Many champs I've thrown were actually pretty flippy (for their weight and wear). Flippier than the 2-3 gstar I've thrown. Stars compared normally to the gstar though (i.e. stars were beefier).

Are Orcs OOP? I've searched all the online stores I can think of and can't find any star orcs.

Champ, DX available in the factory store website under "full production" and Pro, G* available as "limited". They may do a star run someday but they seem to have other priorities right now.

I wish they would do a run of star Orcs. It is easily my favorite "Control" distance driver.
