You ever thought about putting together a fun-sy bag? Anything random or stuff you want to try demo? It breaks the monotony.

I did a lot of trying-stuff-out over the first 5 or 6 years I played. But certain molds just work for me and the way I throw/play.

That said, I still try a few new things here and there. I fully switched from Zones to Harps not that long ago. And I throw a Shryke or two sometimes now, because they just go a little farther and fly big fun lines to watch.

I also revisit old favorites for fun now and again -- Gazelles (especially Gazelles), QJs, Aviar throwers (and all the variants -- Omegas, Tanks, BBs), the MOAB, XCals (love me some beat-in XCals). Watching any good-feeling discs do what they do is fun. Learning the flight lines (or remembering how and why certain discs do what they do) is good fun.

But, fact is, knowing my discs and making good decisions and shots really is where it is at for me. Trusting my discs lets me trust myself, and nothing is more fun than knowing you made good shots all round and putting up solid clean scores.

^^^^This is what I figure.

I've started having a small car bag of randoms, just in case I have time at a course and didn't have discs, gives me a little change of pace.

I do that too.

Just with Gazelles and (random from-the-stack) Rocs and Wizards.

G3T has some old stamped Champ Gazelles, atm.

I assume you may already have a stack, but I thought of your ITB thread when I saw them in the email.

Cheers!
