Default Sorry need quick responses

Posted in the toddler thread but need to know what to do asap sorry.

Playing in a C tier...in torrential rain...and a young mother is playing in the event whilst pushing around her baby in a buggy, around 6 months old.

We were rightfully told we couldn't play with our dogs in tow, rightfully so of course, but we're oddly reminded of the rule despite playing and running events for over a decade.

It has in no way effected us apart from watching the craziness of negotiating a flooded course with a buggy from afar, but as a rules violation should we call it to ensure it doesn't happen round 2.

Competition Manual only rules about caddies, EXCEPT in PDGA Majors and Elite Series tournaments. So, unless it is one of those...it looks to be acceptable. The TD could get confirmation by contacting the PDGA Director of Event Support...info in the Competition Manual introduction.

CM 1.13.A Parents/guardians must be responsible for their children during PDGA-sanctioned events. Neither the PDGA staff nor the event staff are responsible for the children of tournament players, spectators, etc. during events. Parents/guardians may not leave unaccompanied children at or near the scoring area, clubhouse, or any other tournament venue. Any child younger than 13 years of age who is accompanying any player group and is not a caddie must be supervised by an adult who is not part of that player group and not a caddie.

If she's keeping it dry that baby would not want to be anywhere else. I support her effort to take her kid on a safe adventure.

Dang. I missed that....I've been looking all over the rules and Competition Manual and didn't see that one.

Hmmm. That's pretty clear. Maybe treat it like a foot fault? JK!

What a great resource it is to have the Chair of the PDGA rules committee be an active member here.

Mike: thanks for responding to all the posts, and all you contribute to the discussions here!

Shout out to Chuck K., who is another invaluable resource on DGCR.

So does this mean pregnant women disc golfers( after 15 weeks) are now breaking that rule?
