I got to throw the Bobcat (and the even newer, unnamed putter) on Saturday. 4 Bobcats and 2 putters.

I LOVE the way it feels in my hand, but it's pretty beefy for a shallow rimmed midrange. I throw straight midranges primarily (mostly the Vibram Ibex, which I know isn't a super popular mold, but it's a lot like a Buzzz) so it's much beefier than I prefer in a mid. I also carry a Mortar as a specialty disc, and I would strongly consider kicking the Mortar out for the Bobcat. I prefer the shallower rim. And it also has more carry than the Mortar, but probably less stable.

I haven't thrown a lot of discs regularly in this category, cause before the Mortar I threw the Gator, and both of those definitely have deeper rims.

Maybe kind of like a Harp? I don't know. I had to crank on it pretty hard on the hole I tried it out on, which was about 275', but on the plus side I almost aced it. I like the control, just more beef than I'm used to in a workhorse mid.

As for the putter, I loved it as a driving putter. I was able to crank on it pretty hard and get a lot of good, straight distance.

Talk about insanity. Not in love with the time for dropping discs. 12cst, 3am EST. It's 530 here and the virtual shelves look like the end if days has hit, and the only thing left, is creamed corn.

Eternal plastic gone, sublime and Apex pretty picked. Chances of replacing lost discs are unlikely

I bought 2. Turns out my phone is not interacting well with the website. There's a decent amount left

On your phone, click on the color. The default weight appears with the color options on phone, but if you click on colors you will be able to see the weights available (assuming any left). There are definitely some sold out colors, but still a lot of Bobcats left. I picked up a few as well.

It's a weird interface because the grays out the weights, making it look like they're already out of stock. it was also 5:30 in the morning so things were a little blurry. I forgot that their website does that

Yeah, I'm an extremely hard sleeper and I actually overslept for work this morning due to staying up to get my order in... worth it.

Can't wait.

So, Booter, how sweet are these colors in person?

Bobcat - Apex Plastic (AP-BC01-19) - 177g / Peach
Bobcat - Apex Plastic (AP-BC01-19) - 176g / Mint
Bobcat - Eternal Plastic (ET-BC01-19) - 177g / Melon
Bobcat - Eternal Plastic (ET-BC01-19) - 176 / Gold
Bobcat - Sublime Plastic (SB-BC01-19) - 177g / Blurple
Bobcat - Sublime Plastic (SB-BC01-19) - 177g / Midnight Green

That's what I ended up getting 1 each of. I don't have huge preferences so I just picked ones that sounded cool.

i will say right now, the blurple is by far my favorite color in sublime, nice little shift in it. the rest are very sweet as well, particularly fond of melon, mint and the midnight green. nice choices!

I got melon and light blue apex, both 177.

In anticipation, I sold my discmania MD4 collection.

Thanks Booter... I'm more even more hyped now, if that was possible.

Owensjef, sometimes sacrifices have to be made in the name of progress.
