Default Stable and US partners for QOLF?

I'm going to stop carrying high speed stuff for the winter (well, maybe keep one MF Teedevil in the bag). QOLF (and sometimes Tesla) will be the top end, speed wise. I like the Inertia paired with those, but looking for more ideas to pair with the QOLF, just not as fast as the Inertia. You know, faster than a Leopard/Patriot, not as fast or squirrely as an Inertia. Speed 9ish. One stable one US maybe.

Q or SOLS? Star SL? Beast? Q or S JLS?

What do you recommend for this spot? And......go.

If you are familiar with MVP have you thrown a volt, amp or shock?

And technically speed 7's but the clash/servo/switch/crave/inspire are worth looking into. When I want more control over the inertia I use the crave.

I wouldn't necessarily rule it out the Patriot. It's rim width would put it around a speed 8 (1.8 vs the TeeBird's 1.7). I've been using them as understable complements to PDs (beefier than most runs of QOLFs, I believe) and love them. I never really thought the (Proton) Inertia was that squirrely either, though.

Still carry the Volt on occasion (newer run E) but I've been liking the QOLF better.

I used to carry the Inspire, Crave, Clash lineup, still do once in a while. My quick round bag is often Tesla, Inertia, Inspire, Crave, Clash, fresh Axis, beat Axis, Envy, Anode. I put the Inspire right alongside the Patriot (a tick faster than the Leopard) for speed.

Thought about trying an Amp for this spot, but I generally carry all MVP or almost none (the Envy always tags along). Lately, almost none.

I carry a Patriot. And Leopard. Patriot is definietly faster than the Leopard.
I guess squirrely isn't the right word for the Inertia, but it GOES right when ripped flat. And it is faster -- more of a match to the Tesla than the OLF. I'm trying to max at 9ish for the winter.

My US side of my bag is, from short to long, beat Sole or Voodoo<beat KC Roc/flat KC Roc<Leopard<Patriot<Inertia<champ Tern. If that helps.

For a long time I bagged the OLF as my main distance driver. I found that a QOLF, SOLF, and MOLF could handle the bulk of my driving duties. I also used a firebird for more overstability, and a Roadrunner for understability.

How about a classic couple of options... Valkyrie or Sidewinder?

Or like lowracks said, MOLF. They beat in quicker than Qs for sure.

I think The Bandit or CD are the great partners for the LF. I rock a QOLF and Bandit.

Valkryie is also a great compliment to the OLF mold.
