Default Portable base for baskets

Does anyone know if portable bases for an Innova discatcher are available for purchase. I would imagine a chainstar or mach portable base would work as well but I dont see any available online. Not really sure if I want to try to make one myself.

Make sure you deburr the pole before trying to insert it into the new base.

Not sure if they are available. Innova parts are almost nonexistent, which is a very bad thing, IMO. DGA sells all parts needed. Not sure if their base would work or not....depends on what pipe they use for the pole. If its a 1.5" sch 40 pipe, then their base would fit. That is what Innova uses on the Discatchers. Shoot them a note and see what they say. Here's the parts page link. http://www.discgolf.com/disc-golf-di...uipment-parts/

I just make them myself. Of course, I build entire baskets all the time, so I am set up for it. They are not very hard to build should you give it a go.

If you are unable to find an "official" base I'd suggest trying to find the bases used for patio umbrellas. They are heavy duty and adjustable so it should be able to fit any size pipe on a basket.

Innova offers the DISCatcher portable base with hardware for $50.00. Call East or West Coast office to order.
