Default Latitude 64 Gobi midrange

John McCray throwing one on Lat's Facebook page. I don't know how to embed one of those vids.

I don't use Facebook, so please give us the Cliff Notes. Is this disc overstable? understable? Intended uses?

He's throwing it into the wind. It flipps up, moves right some, then finishes left. He describes it as straight.

From the one throw it looked like a -1/2 to me, flipped over in the wind but still had a bite at the end.

Regardless of what the numbers are, I'm bracing myself for the "holds any line you put it on" press tour that seems to get launched with every new midrange

I should have included this in the OP,

Quote:
"Gobi is a slightly understable midrange for those long sweeping anhyzers. Towards the end of the flight Gobi will fight back to a fade in a reliable way. Great for players that throw moderately far and want a controllable disc. Gobi great for bigger arms looking for controlled hyzer flips. Speed: 5 | Glide: 5 | Turn: -1.5 | Fade: 1" - by Latitude 64
