Default Beating in an Xcal

Since the lack of domey overstable destroyers in my area and i lost my favorite one in a lake recently. Im wondering if i start taking a few star xcals and beat them in vigorously will they fill that void until a new run of the destroyers comes out? Any input on how your beat in xcal's fly would be appreciated.

As for Star Xcals, they do become rather flippy if beat in for a while and they could easily fill that role of the domey destroyer. Just get some of the Eco Star Xcals if you can because they beat in easier in my opinion and are a bit more flippy out of the box.

I can't comment on beat Xcals. BUT I had a echo star Boss that broke in well. EXACT flight number as Destroyer, just one faster on speed. But glide, turn and fade are the same.

Im able to hyzer flip my echo boss to about 400, it has a nice s curve. My beat star xcall i use for straight long tunnel shots, I cant seem to s it out as much as my echo boss.

I have a beat in echo star xcal (stock stamp) and it flies beautifully. Beat in, but not too flippy. Holds a nice line with some fade at the end.

I have a champ xcal that I used as a FH disc for about 4 months. Now, it flies a dead straight line with a BH throw and has nice fade at the end. It does have high speed turn, but nothing too crazy. Still fights the wind amazingly too.
