Default Discmania Thread

I am considering a discmania only bag so how do all the discs fly? DD, PD, DD2, PD2, MD1, MD2, TD, CD, FD, P1, P2. How does the MD1 compare to the MD2? Is it more stable? How does it do in the wind? Is it worth having both?

Unless you're sponsored, why limit yourself?

Im currently throwing mainly Discmania for drivers.

I carry 4 PDs.
CFR Big D for OS and big hyzers.
C-Line for stable to slightly OS duties
S-Line for stable
and a beat P line for hyzer flips and turnovers

The CD is like a viking. Pretty straight with a decent fade at the end

FDs are amazing. Tons of glide and very easy to throw.

Man, that's a lot to ask for one question. Search around here and you'll find probably all you want to know. The discmania site and some retailers also list the flight numbers for their discs....same as Innova if you're familiar with it. I've only thrown an older flat CMD2 so I'm really not much help on comparing the mids. Great disc, though. So far, I haven't thrown any of theirs that I don't like, but I don't currently have any in the bag, either.

Perhaps he likes the line? I have a Rush and its pretty sweet. Haven't thrown it much but it seems like a stalker with a bit more stability. I would buy 1 of each and do field work. Best way to find what works for YOU.

MD1 is a bit slower and more stable and a bit crappier. The CMD2 is much better in the wind and once you break it in a bit it's a point and shoot type disc and very straight and stable on drives. It holds it line very well so I'd go with that and compliment it with either a P or DMD2 beaten in. Those plastics are better for short game because they're less stable.

I'd get those two and then pair that with a GM possibly.
