Default HELP! Spin dyes aren't working

So this is my first time posting and spin dying discs. I have never had issues doing the stovetop or painting with dyes but this is a headache

Ok so I made a disc spinner and spun a cpl test discs the dye seemed too thin and I made a few adjustments to try to help thicken it. And did a cpl more and it was thicker but still thinner than I would like.

I'm using idye poly disolved in some hot water and clear dish detergent.
The dye seems to just run and dries in a faded vein looking sort of way

Am I not doing the dye correctly for spinning? Is there something I can do to thicken it more. After it dries its very pale and I'm now at a loss cuz it's starting to frustrate me and I don't know if its the dye mixture or the spin speed... Any help would be better than me blowing through all my pigment guessing

Thanks ill try to successfully post some pics of the ones I've tested
