Pretty much this. I will have an S-Exodus I throw a lot. S-line FD for straight with less power or tailwind or more shape, Opto River for turnover. I really only carry the River if I know i'm on a course I need to finish right and it is outside Mid range.

River for me is more of a utility disc.

So true, newer Rivers have more dome and some fade. Older Rivers were the perfect fadeless tunnel discs (Original and Cerberus Stamped Optos).
