Take the dome off it and watch it really get overstable and a ton of fade.

No one ever believes me until I pull out an 11x champ cal mold teebird and they throw them both. The plus mold TL actually holds up better in the wind. Doesn't feel as good in the hand though.

Dead straight. I max out at about 300' on average.

I traded for a 164g star tl, this thing is flippy but holds lines really nice. I like throwing it soft and straight down tunnels and it goes 300ft with a very nice gentle fade. When I get on it I have to throw it with hyzer angle, the thing just flips over and glides and does not fight the turn until the end. I can't really throw it 100% but given 80-90% power it goes out around 375'. It holds high anny bombs in left to right tails beautifully. What a great compliment to my Eagle Xs. I'm hoping a beat eagle will take its place eventually but i will always keep this disc around for the woods and turnovers.

I bought my first TL in 2006, flew just like my beat in teebird new. Got an ace with it 2 months later, and retired it. Just recently bought 2 more last fall. Been loving them. They beat in to a good turnover disc. Just added another new star TL to the bag. Flies just like my star teebird that's been in the bag for 6 years.

I also like the beat up Tl's for approach shots where I have an awkward stance. They fly nice and straight at low power.

I have three "older" star TLs - flat and are surprisingly still relatively stable. I also have 5 "newer" star TLs (slightly more domey) that are a bit more high speed understable. TLs are the sweet spot between leopards and teebirds ...

But for true long distance turnovers, I go with the sidewinder ...

I picked up a Joel Freeman glow TL to sit between my Night Strike and Jen Allen CG Teebird for my glow bag. The JA Teebird is pretty dang overstable, so I was hoping that the glow TL would be closer to a normal Teebird in stability. Anyone throw these Joel Freeman TL's? I've only gotten a few throws in with it, but so far I like it.
