Default Feeling the power of an old friend (disc)

Ever get a disc you havent used for a while but was good for you when you used it and just feel almost powerful to have one in your hand again like you could make any shot you want? Thats the feeling I got with a Stingray and now a 150 Valk.

Dont know why I went away from the Stingray for a while since it was a staple in my bag from when I started but I picked up a Kite for whatever reason to give something different a try and tried others. Put a Stingray back in the mix last couple weeks and I got that feeling and had real good success with it last week.

Now, just got me a 150 Valk and I know my old one had got too beat and, I took a step back to work on form and now, I feel like I am no longer just arming discs, although I am sure my form isnt perfect but better and I get that same feeling with the new Valk when I picked it up. Its like re-uniting with an old friend.

Am I nuts?

I've been feelin' the power since I started rockin' Panthers again. It's always been a dependable disc for me.

Had my Panther for 3 years before I realized it's awesome chain-seeking powers. It had a permanent place in my bag until it got snagged recently. Great finesse disc.

I just might have to try a Panther. All signs are pointing to it being a good disc and about as close to my old Puma I can get.

For now, I am off to give this Valk a few throws in a round. 40 degrees so should be able to get by with just a sweatshirt and a couple layers without the winter jacket.

The Star Cro. I went away from it for a while, and now it's back. I spent too much time tinkering with other molds. I threw an approach about 175' into the wind today and banged off the chains. Missed the deuce, but I'll take my chances with that anytime. It's just a solid dependable mid for approaches and shots into the wind.
