Unless you like giant rimmed discs that feel like you're holding a pontoon boat in your hands, Plaz Wave is really all you need...

I have the Hall of Fame special edition Wave, and if I remember correctly, it is a Neutron/Plasma mix...and it bombs.
It doesn't go as far as my Sail does, but pretty darn close, and on a gentler line. The HoF Wave can hit closed-in lines that would be hard to hit with a Sail.

Can't exactly remember what you are pushing for distance but the Catalyst is a lot more workable then the Octane. I can get it to flex a bit it was my "bad" purchase a few months ago.... Hyzer flip not so much still messing around with an Orbital and a Vanish

Everyone really is different - I got a wave- neutron 174g - it was too flippy for me to get any use - and I get great distance with a Mayhem and a Tantrum/Teleport

Is a Plasma Wave super flippy or did they come out more stable?



But to actually respond - depending on the person I don't think a wave is best for max D - for me it was too understable and couldn't handle power even on a hyzerflip - not a bad disc maybe I just got a goofy one. idl - but I recommend a Mayhem when folks want a max D bomber - or a Tantrum
