Default How I practice (putting)

I'll start by saying I've been practicing putting for almost 2 years now. I've seen decent improvements. I thought I should share how I practice to maybe give you guys some ideas or inspiration.

The technique is called lining. First, set up a basket in the open. Next, grab a stack of your favorite practice putters and your luckiest, prettiest, shiniest mini. Set the mini down 5 to 7 feet from the basket and drain all of your putters in. If and when you get the all in, move the mini back 6 inches - 2 feet, reset, drain, and repeat. If you miss 1 or 2 putts, restart the line at a different angle.

The main point of this practicing technique is to simultaneously practice the gimme putts inside the comfort zone and to also subtly push putting boundaries and comfort zones. There's no point in practicing the long putts if you can't make the short ones! The short putts are also the best putting form/principle teachers.

Please feel free to drop a comment or recommendation and to modify this for yourself.
