Default Universal City, Texas?

I'll be down there for a few days and might be able to get a round in. It looks there is at least one course close by. Anyone ever play it?

U city course

yea UC is a fun course, lots of short wooded holes mixed with a couple of open field shots. you don't need much distance there. i drop a driver and carry an extra mid when i play there. if you are lhbh or rhfh this course will be much more of a challenge.
i also might suggest playing Brian Mcclain park or live oak if you can only play one course in this area.

I will be staying on Randolph air force base and will probably only have a few hours to get a round in. Is UC the closest?

i hated this course when i played it during the LOCO last year. it needed a lot of work that prevented it from being a fun tourney course.

i would suggest playing Live Oak or McClain before UC

to the OP, live oak is right around the corner from UC. they are both close to the base. @ live oak there are 38 holes so you can be selective in what you play. i would suggest either starting in the back at hole 17 or starting at number 6 for the front. before you go take a look at the map on here to help you get your bearings because it is a huge place. especially if you only have a couple of hours you need to be selective. here is a link to the course map although several holes are missing on there but this gives a good idea where 6 and 17 start. hope this helps.

Isn't Bryn McClain Park near by also? I loved playing that course.
