As soon as you throw, run and jump into the air and start flapping your arms. Once you have reached cruising altitude, slowly start to turn left.

I'm flying with my discs tomorrow. Disc bag will be one carry on, and computer bag will be the other. Suitcase can get checked.

Last Thanksgiving I took a trip east to play Pittsburgh and Rochester,NY courses. The only time anyone blinked was when I left my home town that flies one airplane that holds 30 people. I took it as a carry-on. Every where else just ran it through. I had my tourney bag so I made sure to get some overhead space quick. One really overbooked plane I had to check another bag and chose to carry on my discs and check my clothes. Heh.

I flew to Phoenix one year and decided not to have my golf bag as my carry-on. Now my golf bag has been to Denver but I never have. It still beat me to Phoenix and was waiting when I got there.

Don't throw them in the Airport even if it's empty. I guess they look down upon that.

I've flown with 'em twice, both as a carry on. They made it just fine while sitting in my lap.

What is up with that? I had the same thing happen on a rock climbing trip. I went to Phoenix and all my climbing and camping gear went to Denver. I had to threaten Southwest that i was going to go buy all new camping and climbing gear ($1000s ) to get a response. To their credit, they got me my gear the next evening, at 1:00 am, in the middle of the desert at a campground with no power, phone etc.q
