Default Lost Discs Poll - Gotten a call or not?

I'm trying to get some input from the community on whether or not they get calls on discs they have lost (assuming you've put your name and number on it).

I know I have returned many discs to their rightful owners, but I've never once gotten a call on a disc I've lost. Just curious what everyone else's experience is.

I've lost dozens of discs over the years, and probably gotten called back 5 or 6 times total. My favorite was when someone spotted my disc on ebay with my phone number clearly visible on it, and called to let me know.

It was not easy to choose which one to vote for. I've gotten calls more often than "rarely" but less often than "usually". I'd estimate it's about a 33% shot that I'll get a call if a lost disc of mine is found.

I sometimes get a call. I don't always ink all my discs, but the last couple I did lose were returned. I try to call on any disc I find immediately so I don't forget.

I guess I should have added a "I've lost discs, but only sometimes get a call."? I think it's too late for me to change the poll...

I put a mark on my disc to fulfill the PDGA "obligation." I have no illusions about scumbags returning my lost discs.

*I don't often lose discs but I've never gotten calls on any either.

I lost 9 discs since I started playing and only not got a call about 3. But two of those are at the bottom of a pond on a temporary course so I doubt those will be recovered.

I put my name and number on almost all discs. It takes minimal effort and gives me that slim chance that I'll see it again if it's lost. I don't get called often, and typically if I do get a call, it's more work than it's worth to get it back. But it's still nice when it does happen.

I've lost a lot of discs, only got called on 3, and one of those I had traded and the guy I traded it to had lost it. Only ever gotten one back and that was becuase I was still at the park when it was found.

I personally have returned around 20-30 discs, mostly local (within an hours drive) and lots after the snow melts. I have had around 5-6 returned to me over the same time. Generally speaking I haven't lost too many of them so maybe around 30% return rate. I have a decent idea of which courses you have the best chance of getting it back and which ones if you don't find it you will never see it again.

Longest distance, had sold a buddy in Colorado some Pures and he left one on the last hole at Ken Caryl. I got a phone call in Michigan saying they found it as it still had my # on it. I quickly called my friend and told him to turn around and get his disc and he did.
