When I saw the title to the post I was anticipating some silly artwork of the few things people suggested to be funny. I will say it took a strange turn. I would have submitted something! (Not a graphic designer, but a poor college student that thought the idea is cool and likes to draw). Apparently it is a stab at Ricks character and the people who don't have "real" jobs..

At any rate my thought is I hope a cool design comes out of it. It made me think back to when the Wild joined the NHL and they reached out to people for the name/logo. I don't remember what the return was but I'm satisfied with the how it turned out! Cheers

I'm gonna make everyone mad. My wife's private practice group just redid their web site with a video introducing herself and her partners. She had my 14 year old do it (with much complaining). She paid him $50. So Ricky is on the high end by my measure.

Definitely try. Look at the MLS logo. It's a shield with a rather small... um, male part on it. I'm not kidding. It's a laugh.

The best logo I've ever seen was a Texas States logo. A twisted star with the Texas flag in it. Some guy did it for fun.

Now to really make ya mad. Go to the Baylor College of Medicine web site and look at their logo. It's basically

BCM and the C is purple. They paid a million for that puppy.

Man, you guys just don't understand putting your blood, sweat, and tears into your art and watch it never get used. It's a crushing blow to the soul.
