This would make for an awesome dubs event: a player from one team throws, and a player from the other shoots.
...allows for defensive play. Players alternate throwing/shooting each lie. Just keep your CE, OOP, and FR's at home!

If you think designers need to be careful of where/how courses play near walking paths now, just wait till we grow this sport...

Don't golfers get angry about you toting your shotgun out to the course and shooting their discs??

I have many discs that have entered retirement that have since received lead of various gauges and calibers. Its great fun to shoot them like a clay pigeon. I also stand them up on a dirt mount and pick them off with large caliber revolvers and rifles. I especially enjoyed shooting my Groove with my aunts S&W 500. You haven't had fun until you've done that.

You and your buds need to visit Cabin Creek, DG course plays through where they also have paintball. My socks were technicolor after a round there.

On a public course, you'd still need to be careful for pedestrian traffic anywhere near the course... however the consequences of someone getting hit with a paintball wouldn't be quite as ugly as being hit with shotgun.

I don't remember the poster, but on the old DISCussion board someone had a gif of a disc getting ready to fall into the basket and then being blown away by a shotgun. Ahh, good memories.

Off topic, that movie was Val Kilmer’s best work, IMHO.

They are probably more understanding than the country club guys if you went out and started shooting golf balls off the fairways or greens.
