How's it going out there?

Year end stats are here it rolls over after the tourney. With poor attendance at 13 outings.. 6 of which were at my house haha and the highest points per round with 2.8 it's me! Soon to be the most handicapped player on the roster.

Summer island series has started up on the island. There was a tourney in Campbell river this weekend along with a doubles tourney aswell. I unfortunately was unable to make it.

Managed to get out to marys farm last week though and shot my personal best -4 on the new layout however!

A thread canadian beer with Labbatt and Molson Canadian but nobody mentions Maudite or even La Fin Du Monde? aww man. That's some damn fine beer!

15 years ago I went to Edmonton and found a microbrewery called Alley Cat. I ended up bringing home a case of their barley wine

I think I tried my first and only Alexander Keiths on the plane ride there. I think its just Labbatt but they bottle it in unwashed american IPA cans...

It’s mostly all the old dudes / fishermen / crabbers who still drink mass produced crap beer over here on the west coast! *cough* lucky lager *cough*

unibro makes some fine beer indeed based back east with a more Quebec style.

Alexander Keith’s is NOT an IPA! Haha. It’s a joke.

If you have Facebook there is a group called “island series disc golf” that you can request to join. It has the schedule of all upcoming events if you feel like ferrying over sometime.

Mary’s farm is open Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon/early evening.

That's the best description I've heard of a Keith's....

Yeah we drink a lot of Lucky over here, I think it's ridiculously overpriced now though.. Might as well buy something good for an extra quarter a can.

First of all: Keiths is really not an IPA, it's too light, more like a lager really.

BUT

It is no joke, Sir. Go to NS and get some brewed by the actual Keiths brewery. It's amazing, used to live around the corner and wish I still did.

Congrats!

I got my first rating - 839 from MA2 in the AB open and the Night Owl. Not crazy good but for my first tournament season playing I think it's not too shabby :P

Yeah that reminds me of old Kokanee when it was small batch and had to be refrigerated...

Congratulations on getting some PDGA stats.. I gotta get out to some tourneys more.. Gotta take advantage of the young end of masters!
