Default Replacement for Shock (workable overstable fairway)

Hello,

I have used an MVP Shock for accurate hyzers and some forehands. If I had like 250-300ft open hole my old strategy was to throw a stable to overstable putter or midrange straight and let it fade to the basket. Now I have partly transitioned to throwing the shock on a semi wide hyzer line that looks like this: )

When I heard they are discontinuing the Shock I brought two other Shocks as replacements. But they aren't nearly as overstable. The fly like a proton volt. Thrown flat they have a tiny bit of a turn. And when thrown on a hyzer they do straight out a bit, which makes the shot described above less accurate.

I wouldn't like to buy more shocks just to be disappointed since I do have plenty of stable proton volts for the teebird type flight. Volts are my main fairway drivers for straight shots in the woods but for this purpose the Shock worked better. I have a 11x or 12x KC star firebird but that is super overstable and serves as a utility disc and to me is not as good for the accurate hyzer.

Any suggestions for a replacement? I still have my overstable Shock but eventually I will lose it or it will beat into a straighter disc.

The easy answer the "will newer go OOP Thunderbird" . . or maybe the Discraft ANAX

Looking at Marshalls DISC GOLF FLIGHT GUIDE then the STAG and the Saint pro is the ones closest to the SHOCK ( G8 )

Thunderbird/Anax, Orc, Raptor, FD3, could work

Axiom Wrath. They're a tiny bit faster but otherwise basically the same thing.

I complement my Volt with the Banzai for a more OS shot.

I use a good amount of MVP, I was a bit SHOCKED when I heard the shock was going OOP - ha ha har har har. ha...ahem
Anyway, I'm sure they will have a replacement soon enough - I don't know what would really fly like it, it has decent glide and good stability. I'm sure you could just stock up on shocks, there are still plenty out there. Like if you snagged 5 of them that should last you a LOOOOONNNNGG time. and by then the new mvp shock should be out. BUT if you want some other recommendations...a disc I just tried is the lat64 Spark (in goldline plastic) Its a nice OS fairway disc, I'd rate it 7/4/0/2.5 - not the speed or glide of the shock, but close. It's a decent disc. Otherwise a Teebird3 wouldn't be bad but likely not AS overstable, but more like a beat shock. T3 is nice. You cannot go wrong with a STAR EAGLE! That would probably be the easiest to replace and you know star eagles are everywhere. And an opto X Explorer would be a good fit too.

Those are my recommendations

Ohhhh and a Millenium OrionLF in Sirius (or star plastic)

It's a bit faster than a Shock but a similar flight. Sliiiight turn, decent fade. All around can do a lot. I use the Orion right now as a more stable LIFT. Orion LF in Sirius is Seriously good.

Shock is speed 8 so I would say Teebird, Thunderbird or Raptor.
