Default Discmania discs

I've noticed that Innova is reintroducing old OOP discs under a "discmania" line. Why not just reintroduce them with the innova brand on them? Also, how do these compare to the originals?

few months late on this.

But discmania is a sweedish sister company of innova.

They brought back the Gremlin as the GM

other than that most of their other molds are just Frankenstein innova molds with switched flight plates and rims.

what do you mean switched flight plates and rims? they still say innova on the underside, which is what made me wonder.

Discmania (And Millennium) have many discs that are just Innova parts mix and matched. For example the QMS is something like a Roc top with a Stringray bottom, and the PD I think was a Starfire + something understable hybrid.

i'm pretty sure all discmania drivers have the same top. they've all got a small dented ring where your thumb goes.

1st: Discmania is Finnish, not Swedish.
2nd: Only the GM is an OOP Innova mold, the P1 is an in production Innova mold (beadless Aviar), the others are mix and match parts, some tweaked, some not. For example the TD is basically a Roadrunner wing with the Anhyzer top, but it's also wider rimmed and hence faster than the RR.
3rd: All of the current Discmania drivers come with the so called "Anhyzer" top, but the first run CD and the proto PD had a different top, resulting in a much blunter edge, sort of Teerex-like.
4th: Discmania and Innova are two separate companies (like Millennium is) but they do obviously a lot of co-operation, Discmania being the main importer of Innova products in Finland for one.
5th: Discmania discs are DAMN good. Especially the PD is sensational. Personally I also love the MD2, the TD and the CD. DD is better than it's sister Wraith, but the Pro Destroyer is even better. GM is also terrific, but it's a Gremlin so Discmania won't get any credit for it.

Getting the DD2 in P and C-Lines pretty soon (hopefully), Katana wing with the PD

I had dd and couldnt throw it at all but throw wraiths on half my drives. is this innova inconsistency or what?

Want to check out pd and cd but little turned off after heard wraith tee bird combo and had a glorified groove.
Plastic felt great tho.

And this is my one experience so may have been unique.
