Default Beast: Can I get a witness?!

Who here throws Beasts? I don't see a lot of players throwing them, and I can never figure out why.

I have about 300-350ft of golf D, and a 172-175 Champ Beast is one of my favorite control drivers. It's great for ripping out in the open, especially away from a tailwind.

In the woods, it has a fantastic natural s-curve to it. For me, it's sort of like a faster, longer Leopard.
My slightly beat 172g is great for long tunnel shots with trouble on the left side (I'm RHBH) where a PD would finish too hard left. Slight hyzer it up the left side, it flips up to a slight anny, turns left to right about 20-30ft or so, then finishes almost dead straight.
It's also great for sweep hyzers. Release it on a hard hyzer angle, and it flips up as it makes the turn, and finishes very flat.

It actually reminds me of a FLX Avenger SS I had, and the wings look very similar.

Beast is one of the more popular discs on my course. I don't throw one... oh, I take that back: I threw one once Saturday, incase I didn't clear the lake. The lake is +1 Beast.

I don't see a whole lot of them, but my main long distance driver is also a Champ Beast. They are a bit touchy though. If you throw it just right you get a nice long straight flight but they are a bit inconsitant.

I'm using the Beast for my understable driver. I've gone thru 3, I use champ or star 173g or heavier. Mostly just big anhyzer shots and rollers that have a chance of finding water so I don't loose the SS avenger I've been rolling for a few years.

I used to throw a beast, until I realised that I was throwing my Leopard the same distance with less effort.

I used to throw beasts a lot, and push the beast on quite a few people looking for a faster driver (but not too fast like a wraith or higher). One of my favorite Innova discs, and they are quite popular in Iowa where I've played. I think just like the Orc, it's a love or hate disc.

The beast is my main go-to distance driver. I threw my 168g champ beast the furthest drive Ive ever thrown last week with a fairly strong tail wind. Roughly 442 ft according to google earth.

The beast used to be my main disc. I got 2 aces with the Beast. I got a little stronger and better technique and started throwing about 100 feet further though and now the beast just flips over to a roller for me. I have to throw faster discs then the beast now. I still use it for shorter drives occasionally though and have a lot of repect for that disc.
