I PMed him. Im curious to see what he says he found to be the limits with em. I'm sure Im not even close but it will be usefull to know if I start trying to push my putters to 300' and the guy throwing them over 350' says the ones Im using didnt work so well over 250'; Im still going to use them, just not waste my time trying to push them that far.

How does the Voodoo compare with Magic & Wizard. I putt with a Voodoo and I love it. very straight flight for me up to about 60-70ft then I tend to turn it over. Wanting to try Wizard and Magic in the near future.

Little less LSS than a Wizard but a notch more HSS and LSS than a Magic from what I've seen. Havent thrown one much personally, but should definately be able to get more than 70' out of it.

I imagine its possible but not practical.
I could always get more distance out of magics than wizards. I'd throw them with a good bit of hyzer on a distance throw and when i hit it right they would go about 355' dead straight, fade left maybe 2' at the most. It was a very pretty shot to watch, the peoblem was consistency. I feel a lot more consistent with wizards in the 300'+ range, but then again I have more time with them and its been a while since I drove magics, my form has cleaned up a bit in that time.

When i carried both I felt like the magic excelled over the wizard with...

-Holding a straighter line on longer putts, while the wizard would fade out sooner
-Touch anhyzer putts and approaches that required more effort to make the wizard hold the line
-Short approach shots with little room to work with left or right

What I didn't like was second guessing which to use in a given situation. While the two molds compliment each other very well, for me I feel more consistent relying on the same mold for most everything a little over 300' and in.

Thansk for dropping by Mike.

Wow. 355' is well beyond where Im at or where I even want to push them to; at least for now. I understand your reasoning for not wanting to carry both as thats why I was hoping to hear some good distance potential for them. Since they can be worked out there as far as I want to go, I too would rather not carry both. Wind is likely to affect the Magic more than the Wizard but its just something I will have to deal with since I've decided I like that understable type putter better.

Thanks

No problem. They're an excellent disc at the ranges most golfers would use them.
