I used a stable disc for my backhand rollers and an understable disc for my forehand rollers in most all cases. There are times when I consider throwing an overstable disc forehand but it really isn't necessary. It takes more effort. You can throw an understable disc forehand very easily and watch it roll a long way.

I don't use rollers very often (because I'm wildly inconsistent with them) but my two longest drives ever were FH rollers.

I do occasionally use a KC roc or aviar for "escape" roller shots, but that's usually when I have absolutely no other option.

Pretty sure people have thrown over 700 without having to be out in the desert with huge wind gusts. Double G I am sure has done it multiple times and I am sure there are others who have as well.
